sorry for the lack of posts.. my computer is still down, and i have just waaay too much work to do for my university application.. (yeah.. it sucks..) and well.. yeah.. its been.. yeah.. perhaps next week i can get to fixing it.. perhaps..

heres a post i made at this forum i frequent: war sucks, we know that. but certain situations require making war. one of them is this. we may think its about oil (and to bush it probably is) and certainly in this side of the world, everyone is thinking that. but, if we are wise, we can see what is truly actually going on. this is about protecting the place we live in. that strange place we call earth. that place some of us are sooo bent on destroying.
and thats what this war is about, its about preventive action. we all remember september 11th 2001. you really think osama has the money to finance an organization like al qaeda? he doesnt, its funded by saddam, who wants to destroy the US.. oh, and israel.. bush knows this, bush sr knew this, and clinton knew this.. but what the previous two didnt do, bush now has to take care of.. and now that it is known that saddam has weapons of mass destruction, after 9/11 its no time to take risks.. im anti-war, but i am also pro-peace, and this has to be done in order to have peace, at least for the US and israel.. and lets face it, war against these, as we so clearly have seen, is war for the entire world. so lets not let saddam have a chance to destroy the peace of the world. if you are for peace, you are in favor of this operative. and, at least i know the US can carry this thing out efficiently, so im not too worried.

do you really think God meant for all this stuff to be happening? of course not!! but, unlike satan, He doesnt force Himself into our lives, and if He isnt in our lives, He cant take care of us, He cant protect us. and if He cant protect us, we are wide open for satan to attack us. remember when they said in the US "keep God out of our schools!".. and then what happened? you really think these are disconnected? if you keep God out of your life, He cant protect you, you are on your own. and this earth is reigned by satan, we have given him control by kicking God out.. and THAT is why there are wars, death, suffering, disease..

God loves us. satan does not. satan wants our destruction. and when we keep God away from our lives, we are allowing satan to do as he pleases

what bush has to do now, is be quick and efficient, take saddam and his government out with as little civilian deaths as is humanly possible. we all agree that saddam is as evil a villain as it gets.. and the whole point of saying we are against war is to stress the point that we dont want to see innocent people dying. i am not pro-war, but i do think saddam has to be taken out. and before he whips out his heavy weaponry.
for your pondering, you know why france is against the war tho? well, because they signed a very lucrative agreement with iraq over their oil.. they dont mention that when they launch their anti-war speeches, do they? ohh and what about the fact that part of the agreement states that no jews may be involved in any of the dealings or work to do with the agreement? thats right, france signed a very lucrative anti-semitic deal with saddam hussein.. thats why they want peace, otherwise, theyd be all for the attack... as a matter of fact, the main countries opposed to the war are countries that have deals with iraq for oil. im against war because i dont approve of civilian death, but i think you should look into why these other countries themselves are against it.

yeeeeeaaaaahhhhh! so ive finally been able to check my mail since a week! (was that grammatically correct?) ahh.. and am glad to say this has been the first post from a non-ie browser in just as long.. (yeah, i installed mozilla on my brother's computer.. *breathes the fresh air* i'll prolly have to uninstall it as soon as i get my own computer back on its feet.. his 32megs of ram dont handle it too well.. hahah.. yeah, i know.. he cant afford the 50bucks it would cost him to upgrade to 256 (of pc66 ram) which would make his computer something like 8 times faster... (yeah, it bottlenecks like you have no idea..) so yeah.. its slow like a mother.. and thrashes about sooo much when running memory intensive proggies from the insane paging.. and considering he has it set to winblows handling that for him.. yeah.. you can imagine.. *kzzggghtht* everytime you launch a program.. hahha.. *sigh* finally, re-communicated to the world.. now i have to see if i can get wine to install icq in redhat and then just slap my history files in there.. and we're back in business.. ohh yeah, did i mention the fact that part of the files lost were all my backups of my site? and the stuff i was working on.. and and and.. yeah.. stupid winblows.. stupid me relying on it, and not making external backups of my crap.. youd think having 2 hard drives one would survive.. ahh no.. no señorito.. youd think wrong..
(is it just me or are the posts becoming increasingly (and unnecessarily) technical?? and i think i lost a bracket somewhere in that first paragraph.. hhaha)

yeah, and my application to universities requires of me to compile, among other things, a portfolio with the 6 pieces of art (drawings, paintings, pictures, cg.. ) i consider to be my best work. yeah. hmm.. guess i must whip out old my old drawings, and put them to the test, drag them through the mud, and then find out which one is the mole.. ohh wait.. um.. hand them a rose.. no.. uhh.. yeah whatever.. WHATEVER, I SAY!!!!!!!!

ohh yeah, and my computer has decided its had enough of winblows and has corrupted both my drives (well, the FAT partitions) and now, all the important data is.. well.. not there.. what used to be my mail folder 400megs large, is now just a file.. 16k small. i cant run any of my browsers.. (not opera, not mozilla..) cuz apparently, they arent valid win32 applications.. (pfft) so now, i have to see what i can do, and i'll prolly need to get a new, bigger drive (200gigs anyone?) and just up and blow winblows away for good.. so i can finally be free of that hassle.. and finally bob will shut up about me still using it.. i still have to hack my linux kernel and add the alsa driver (find some way to do that.. hey, i managed to add the BeFS driver..) into it, recompile, and hope i did it correctly. *sigh* i guess i just hold on to stuff too much.. at least software-wise, i havent upgraded my linux distro cuz i have modified it completely and to my taste, and upgrading would just be such a hassle..
anyways.. i have to see how i get all my valuable data back.. my emails.. everything.. and then just flush winblows to HAIL! i think im still dependent on it due to 2 proggies, PC-VCR (to watch tv on my computer.. yeah, i know.. i just need to get a replacement) and.. um.. thats it? yeah, guess so.. so yeah, as soon as i get that, and i need to get opera for linux too.. and thats it, thats IT i say!!
and georgie keeps insisting that time has stopped.

my brother doesnt read the blog, and yet, he's always asking why i dont write stuff about him.. pfft.. so yeah, his leg is broke, (and georgie tells me to write that he just farted.. my brother that is..) yeah, his leg is broke.. some guy kicked 'im in the kneecap, and somehow managed to drive to the side of his leg. yes, ouch, i agree.. so, after 18mins of waiting for an ambulance, and some more dealing with ineptitude (on behalf of the inexperienced paramedics) and then some more stuff.. and so after arriving at the hospital, and minor surgery and a nice large leg cast, he's back home, unable to walk for a while, being served on by everyone.. heh.. i'd say he's lucky, but, well, i wont.. considering his knee is quite fragile and in pain still.. so yeah, you win some, you lose some, and some other times you have someone break your knee.
